Welcome to our website! As we have the ability to list over one million items on our website (our selection changes all of the time), it is not feasible for a company our size to record and playback the descriptions on every item on our website. However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at (859) 272-8323 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Our Community

Nicholasville is the 11th largest city in state of Kentucky and the county seat of Jessamine County, Kentucky. The population was 19,680 at the 2000 census. 2009 population estimates put Nicholasville at a population of 27,001. Nicholasville functions as both a residential area for commuters to Lexington, and also as an employment and shopping center for South Central Kentucky. The Oak Factory Outles is among the businesses to serve this community, and we are located in the new Brannon Crossing Center, one mile south of Man-o-War Road and Nicholasville Road, next to Bob Evans, and across the street from the Cracker Barrel.

The Oak Factory Family

On May 5th, 1991, Oak Factory Outlet was born. My husband, Mike and I chose Lexington because it was a "cherry" town and lacked a good quality oak furniture store. We first opened a 5.000 square foot store in Crossroads on Nicholasville Road and sold exclusively oak.

Five years later, we moved down the street, next to Rafferty's, to a location over double the size of the first. We dropped the "outlet" from our name and ventured out to different woods: cherry, maple, pine, painted finished. Furniture was changing and we wanted to keep up with the times.

At that time, we carried Bedrooms, Home Office, Dining and Entertainment Theaters. We brought in upholstery and leather. We added a Restonic Mattress Gallery. In other words, we became a full-line furniture store!

We also became a full-line family!! The births of our son, Gene, in 1996, and our daughter, Samantha, in 1999, have been the greatest gifts the Lord has given us.

In 2003, we ran our first, and what we thought would be our only, family commercial. We wanted to convey that we were a family owned business catering to the people of the Bluegrass and offering quality furniture at "family prices".

Well, that commercial was so well received by you that, as most of you know, you have watched Gene and Samantha grow up! I have written the commercials many times with suggestions from you, the public, as well as the kids themselves!

Finally, in 2007, we were blessed to build our own 30,000 square foot building at Brannon Crossing, on Nicholasville Road. We debated dropping "Oak Factory" but after all these years, this is how the public knows us! Wherever we go, people remark, "There's the Oak Factory Family!"

Our showroom is set up with many designed settings so you, our customer, can envision them in your home. Our approach with our customers has been that of educating on our products, offering the best prices for quality furniture and the best customer service. We only deal with reputable companies that not only stand behind their furniture but also deliver to Oak Factory in a timely fashion.

By focusing on this high standard of quality, Mike and I promise that your shopping experience will be a non-pressure, delightful one. On any given day, you might work one-on-one with Mike or I or maybe even the kids! Personalized service is an Oak Factory benefit.

Now, with our story told, we want to give credit were credit is due! GOD is our CEO! He has blessed us with this business and our family gives our Lord and Savior all the credit. We can testify that we can do all tings through HIM. It is important to our family that all come to know JESUS and we would welcome the opportunity to sit with anyone who has not made a decision to walk with HIM. Let us share our story of what HE has done in our lives.

Peace, Love, and Hope...GOD provides it all!
